Dot's Playground
Dot's Playground is a frustrating yet addictive platformer set in a hellish environment.
Dot's Playground was a group project for my Game Design Workshop class. My group consisted of 2 other team members, Danial and Nadia, where I was the team leader and bore the roles of programmer and game designer. My duties included:

Programming player movements with smooth wall jumping.

Over the course of the project, I spent my time designing the game and level, programming, constantly tweaking it until it felt right and learning new things from my teammates.
Dot's Playground is an unforgiving hellish platformer. Play as a kid who tries to escape hell by avoiding a seemingly endless array of spikes, saws, creepy demon hands and skull missile launchers.
Master Dot's handy wall jump ability to overcome any obstacle and reach the portal at the end. Collect the heart to unlock laser doors in order to proceed.
