Homebound

Homebound (originally named 100 Miles Away) was made for the Global Game Jam 2019 with the theme: What home means to you? This game was made in a team of 4 (Jing Hui, Jun Jie, Bryan and I) where I was the Game Designer, Programmer and Team Leader.

In just 48 hours, we managed to effectively work together to create a fun and addictive game.

Homebound is mobile game and also playable on PC. It's an Endless Action Arcade game inspired by Crossy Road with some rogue-like elements involved. You play as a cute flying Orange who has a desire to go out when he's home but misses home when he's out!

​

Collect coins on your way home and use them to unlock upgrades whenever you reach home!

Collect awesome powerups along the way too, like Slowmo or Red Light which causes the traffic

light to turn red and stop all cars.

​
